The Perfect Chocolate Medallions

The Perfect Chocolate Medallions

Is there anything more gorgeous than a perfect bite of chocolate goodness? We like our treats a little sweet and a touch salty. The best of all worlds, which these darling little medallions are! We cannot wait for you to make this simple, yet delectable recipe with our Purely Sprouted Sweet and Salty Snack Mix and or our Orange Ginger Snack Mix... you can mix and play and find your perfect match. 

The Goods: 

Serves 4-6 

7 oz dark chocolate, chopped 

1 bag of Purely Sprouted Sweet & Salty Sprouted Snack Mix or Orange Ginger Snack Mix 

 

  1. Make the chocolate medallions. Prepare a double boiler by filling a saucepan with a few inches of water, placing a metal or glass bowl on top, and bringing the water to a gentle simmer over medium low heat. Add the chopped chocolate to the bowl and stir until completely melted and smooth. 
  2. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, using the back of the spoon to form the chocolate into a small circle. Repeat with the rest of the chocolate, leaving about an inch of space between each scoop. Sprinkle with snack mix of choice and place in the fridge to set. That's all!!
